Freycinet National Park

This jump is called The Beowulf Jump because it’s located right next to a climb called Beowulf. This is in Freycinet National Park, a popular tourist site, on the East Coast of Tasmania. It’s challenging to give precise directions and you can’t just walk there. You actually have to rappel down a bigger cliff to get to the ledge where the jumping platform is.

For anyone contemplating this jump we warn you that at least two people we know have broken vertebrae performing this jump and then you have to climb a kelp boulder problem to get out of the surging swell. So be careful. It’s genuinely really dangerous. SIMON
